Lulu hakumbukwi na wasanii wenzake

KITENDO cha mastaa wa filamu kushindwa kwenda kumtembelea msanii mwenzao, Elizabeth Michael ‘Lulu’, anayekabiliwa na kesi inayohusisha kifo cha aliyekuwa mwigizaji, Steven Kanumba, katika gereza la Segerea jijini Dar ni kukwepa kuhusishwa katika keshi hiyo, imefahamika.
Uchunguzi uliofanywa umebaini kuwa kumekuwa na mahudhurio hafifu ya wasanii maarufu kwenda kumtembelea Lulu katika gereza hilo.

Akielezea hali hiyo, kiongozi mmoja wa Bongo Movie, alisema ni kweli hali hiyo ipo na wengi wanaogopa kuhusishwa katika kesi hiyo kwa kuwa bado uchunguzi wake unaendelea.
“Napingana na hoja ya kusema sisi mastaa ni wanafiki, binafsi ninachokiogopa mimi na wenzangu ni majumba mabovu ambayo yanaendelea kubomoka (kuingizwa kwenye tuhuma) kila siku kuhusiana na kesi ya Lulu, ndiyo maana wengi wanaogopa kwenda Segerea,” alisema kiongozi huyo.
Lulu ambaye anatuhumiwa kuhusika na kifo cha Kanumba, ameshapandishwa kizimbani mara moja na atarejea tena Aprili 23, mwaka huu.

Kanumba alifariki dunia usiku wa kuamkia Aprili 7, mwaka huu, nyumbani kwake Sinza Vatican, Dar na kuzikwa Aprili 10 katika makaburi ya Kinondoni.

Jamani sajuki anaumwa.

UKWELI ni kwamba, staa mkubwa wa filamu za Kibongo, Sadick Juma Kilowoko ‘Sajuki’ anaumwa.
Hali ya Sajuki imeendelea kuwa mbaya akidhoofu mwili siku hadi siku kutokana na kusumbuliwa na tatizo la uvimbe tumboni kwa muda mrefu sasa.

Aprili 15, mwaka huu Sajuki na mkewe Wastara Juma walifanya sherehe ya 40 ya kumtoa mtoto wao, Farheen ambayo ilihudhuriwa na waandishi wetu waliomshuhudia msanii huyo akiwa amedhoofu sana.Kabla ya kuugua, Sajuki alikuwa mwanaume aliyeshiba (mnene) na mwenye nguvu hivyo kutokana na hali yake ilivyobadilika na mwili kuwa mdogo, baadhi ya wasanii waliofika kwenye sherehe hiyo walijikuta wakimtolea machozi.
“Jamani tuacheni utani, Sajuki anaumwa sana na anahitaji msaada na maombi yetu ili arejee kwenye hali yake ya kawaida,” alisema mmoja wa waigizaji wenzake.

Kwa mujibu wa mkewe Wastara, Sajuki alipokwenda katika Hospitali ya Apollo nchini India hivi karibuni alipewa dawa za kutumia kwa muda ambapo mwezi ujao (Mei) alitakiwa kurejea tena nchini humo kwa ajili ya matibabu zaidi.

SALMA Hamidu, mkazi wa Igogo, jijini Mwanza ameibuka na kudai amezaa na marehemu Steven Kanumba mtoto wa kike aitwaye Treasure Steven Charles Kanumba (2), Ijumaa linashuka na maneno ya kinywa chake.
Akizungumza na mwandishi wetu, Salma anayefanya kazi kwenye Ofisi ya Uwakili ya Law Consultancy jijini Mwanza, alidai alianza kufahamiana na marehemu mwaka 2006 wakati yeye akiwa kwenye Kundi la Nyakato Arts chini ya Mwalimu Joseph.
CHANZO CHA UHUSIANO
Salma akasema kuwa, uhusiano wao uliunganishwa na Mwalimu Joseph ambaye alimpa marehemu namba zake za simu wakati alipopeleka filamu za Machozi Yangu na Siri Yangu kuifanyia uhariri (editing) jijini Dar es Salaam katika studio alizokuwa akifanyia kazi marehemu.
“Marehemu alipoona picha zangu kwenye filamu hizo alivutiwa na mimi katika kuigiza, akaomba namba zangu za simu kwa Mwalimu Joseph,” alisema Salma.
Mrembo huyo aliendelea kuweka wazi kuwa, baadaye Mwalimu Joseph alirejea Mwanza na kumtaka radhi kwa kumwambia alimpa Kanumba namba zake za simu.

LAIVU KWA MARA YA KWANZA
“Mwaka 2007, Kanumba aliniita Dar, alinitumia tiketi ya ndege ya Precision Air, kwetu niliaga nakwenda kumsalimia mama mkubwa anayeishi Tabata.
“Nilipofika Dar, nilimpigia simu Kanumba kumtaarifu nimefika, akanitaka tukutane Ubungo Plaza Hotel (Blue Pearl),” alisema Salma.
Pale Ubungo Plaza, marehemu kwa mara ya kwanza alimtamkia lililo moyoni mwake kwamba ametokea kumpenda na akamuomba wawe wapenzi.
“Sikuwa na uamuzi wa haraka, lakini kutokana na ushawishi wake nilikubali, baadaye nilirudi Tabata kwa mama mkubwa.
“Usiku alinipigia simu, akaniomba kesho yake tusafiri kwenda Zanzibar, nilikubali, asubuhi niliaga kwa shangaza tukaenda Zanzibar.
“Tulifikia Bwawani Hoteli. Tulikaa kwa siku tatu na kwa mara ya kwanza nilikutana na marehemu kimwili. Tuliporudi Dar mimi nikarejea Mwanza,” alisema Salma.
KANUMBA PENZI LAKOLEA, ATUA MWANZA
“Baada ya kama miezi minne na siku kadhaa hivi, marehemu alinipigia simu akasema yuko Mwanza, anataka kuja chuoni kuniona. Alikuja akiwa ameongozana na marafiki zake wawili, Credo na Theonist Rutashoborwa.
“Walikuja hadi chuoni, mimi nilitoka tukaenda kukaa kwenye baa ya Shentemba. Ilipofika saa 2 usiku, tukahamia Isamo Hotel,” alisema Salma.
Salma aliendelea kusema kuwa, pale Isamo walipata chakula kabla ya kujitupa kitandani lakini siku hiyo muda mwingi alikuwa akijisikia vibaya, marehemu akamtaka asubuhi akapime.
“Asubuhi nilikwenda kwenye Kliniki ya Dokta Ng’walida, daktari bingwa wa magonjwa ya akina mama na watoto. Vipimo vilionesha nilikuwa na ujauzito wa miezi minne.
“Nilimwonesha marehemu majibu yale, hakuonekana kukubali wala kukataa, lakini baadaye akasema kazi yake haimruhusu kuwa na mtoto wala familia hadi atakaponiambia.
“Baada ya siku mbili, aliaga kurejea Dar pamoja na marafiki zake. Siku chache baadaye huku nyuma kwa bahati mbaya ujauzito ulitoka, nilikwenda kwa daktari mmoja Nyakato National ambaye alithibitisha hilo. Huo ulikuwa mwaka 2008.

UJAUZITO WA PILI
Salma alisema kuwa mawasiliano na marehemu yaliendelea. Kuna siku alimpigia simu akimtaka wakutane jijini Arusha.Alipofika alipokelewa na Kanumba mwenyewe kabla ya kwenda kupiga kambi kwa rafiki yake mmoja aliyekuwa akiishi peke yake.Akasema kukutana kwao kimwili kwa safari hii, ndiko kulimpa ujauzito na hatimaye kujifungua binti anayeitwa Treasure au Tunu.
Arusha waliondoka na ndege hadi Mwanza ambapo walifikia Ladson Hotel, ipo Bwiru na kukaa kwa siku mbili kabla ya kumruhusu kurejea nyumbani kwao Igoma. Akiwa na ujauzito huo, Kanumba alimtumia nauli akimtaka wakutane mjini Morogoro.“Nikiwa na tumbo langu, aliniita Morogoro, nilisafiri kwa basi hadi kule, nilifikia kwa shangazi yangu yeye alipanga kwenye hoteli ipo jirani na Kituo cha Mabasi cha Msamvu.

KANUMBA ATOA ONYO
“Kulitokea kutokuelewana kidogo na marehemu kwa sababu ya ujauzito ule, akirejea mazungumzo yake ya awali kuwa, kazi yake haimruhusu kuwa na mtoto wala familia, lakini nilimwambia sina namna ya kufanya kuhusu ujauzito ule.“Hata hivyo, marehemu alinionya nisimwambie mtu kuhusu ujauzito kuwa ni wa kwake, iwe siri yangu na yake kwa sababu hakutaka habari hiyo ifike kwenye magazeti,”alisema Salma.Akaongeza: Baada ya hapo, alinipa shilingi 150,000 nikarudi nyumbani Mwanza.“Nikiwa Mwanza alikuwa akinipigia simu akitaka kujua naendeleaje na tumbo langu na kunitaka nijiandae kwa safari ya Dar, atanitumia tiketi ya ndege. “Nilisafiri, nilipofika Dar nilimjulisha, akasema tusikae Dar, twende Zanzibar. Kule tulifikia tena Bwawani Hotel. Tulikaa kwa siku nne, kisha tukarejea Dar.

Lakini tukiwa Zanzibar kuna mtu alinipigia simu na yeye akiwepo, alikasirika sana na kuninyang’anya simu, akachukua namba kisha akampigia mtu huyo, waligombana kwenye simu. Aliipasua simu yangu, akaenda kuninunulia nyingine.“Alikuwa mtu mwenye hasira, hakutaka kusikia unazungumza na simu hasa ikiwa ni sauti ya kiume. Ugomvi huo ulisababisha aikane mimba, akasema namsingizia ni ya mwanaume aliyenipigia simu. Ilifika mahali akasema kila mtu aishi kivyake.“Hata hivyo, alikuja kuniomba msamaha huku akizidi kunionya kuwa ole wangu nitangaze nina mimba yake.” Alisema ugomvi wake na Kanumba ulitokana na ujauzito na ilifika mahali Salma alimweleza mama yake ambaye alimlaumu kwa kujiingiza kwenye uhusiano na mwanaume huyo.

MISAADA KUTOKA KWA KANUMBA
Kwa upande wa misaada, Salma alisema akiwa mjamzito, marehemu alimtumia shilingi Milioni  mbili na laki mbili kwa ajili ya kununua kiwanja. Baadaye alimtumia shilingi Milioni moja za kupanga nyumba. Fedha hizo alizituma kupitia Benki ya Standard Chartered Tawi la Mwanza.
Baada ya kutuma fedha hizo, marehemu aliwahi kwenda Mwanza na kufikia kwenye Hoteli ya Ryans Bay. Wakati huo mimba ilikuwa na umri wa miezi saba.

HAKUTAKA KUPIGA NAYE PICHA
Salma anasema: Nilimtaka tupige picha ya ukumbusho akakataa, lakini nilipojifungua alikuja na kumpiga picha mtoto kwa kutumia simu yake akisema, ‘mtoto mama yangu mtupu kwani amefanana naye sana.’ Aliongeza kuwa alipojifungua Kanumba alimtumia shilingi 500,000 za matumizi ya mtoto kupitia simu ya mama yake mzazi na Salma (hakumtaja jina). Aliendelea kusema kulijitokeza sakata wakati wa kumpa jina mtoto, Kanumba akitaka amwite jina la mama yake, huku Salma naye akitaka kumwita la mama yake, ndipo wakakubaliana mtoto aitwe Treasure au Tunu ili kumaliza mzozo wa kugombea kumwita mtoto jina la upande mmoja. “Treasure alipofikisha miezi saba alisema nimpige picha nimtumie ili amwone alivyofikia, nilifanya hivyo. Siku moja akaniambia angetunga filamu kuhusu maisha yetu ambayo alipendekeza iitwe My Gift. “Siku chache kabla ya kifo chake alinipigia simu pamoja na mtoto akisema alitaka kusafiri na asingekuwepo kwa mwezi wote wa Machi mwaka huu, alimsamilia mwanaye. Lakini cha kushangaza siku chache nikapewa taarifa za kifo chake,” alisema Salma.
 
KWA NINI USIRI?
Salma alisema mpaka sasa anashindwa kuelewa ni kwa nini marehemu alitaka uhusiano wao uwe wa siri. Lakini baadhi ya marafiki zake walikuwa wakifahamu uhusiano huo.

NENO LA MWISHO LA SALMA
“Kanumba kaniacha njia panda, sijui la kufanya, lakini ni vyema kama angemtambulisha mwanaye kwa ndugu zake kuliko hivi sasa ambapo mengi yatazuka kuwa pengine natafuta fedha za marehemu.
“Sijaweka wazi ili nipate chochote, bali nahisi dhambi kuficha kwa sababu huyu mtoto si damu yangu peke yangu.“Nitakuwa mbaya kwa Mungu kama nisiposema ukweli. Angekuwepo mwenyewe nisingesema kwa sababu yeye ndiye alikuwa kiongozi wa maisha ya mtoto.
“Narudia tena, nina uwezo wa kumlea na wala sihitaji mtoto achukuliwe na kwenda kuishi kwa baba, ila familia ijue kuna damu yao kwangu.“Kama hawataamini, niko tayari kufika Dar na kupima DNA ili familia ya marehemu ijiridhishe,” alisema Salma.

Hata hivyo, Salma alikiri kufanya kosa la kutowahusisha marafiki wa Kanumba kumtegulia kitendawili hicho na kudai pengine umri mdogo ulichangia. Salma alizaliwa mwaka 1987.
Alisema mtu pekee ambaye watu wanamfahamu na ndiye shahidi wa uhusiano wake na marehemu ni msanii wa maigizo, Ramadhan Malele ‘Swebe’ ambaye alikuwa akiwasiliana naye mara kwa mara.
Salma alisema kabla Kanumba hajafikwa na mauti, yeye aliwahi kukutana na Swebe jijini Mwanza ambapo alimsimulia hali ilivyo na akamshauri kusikiliza matakwa ya marehemu ya kutotoa siri ya kuwepo kwa mtoto huyo.

Msanii wa filamu, aliyebeba mapenzi makubwa ya Watanzania, Waafrika na dunia kwa jumla, Steven Charles Kanumba aliyefikwa na mauti ghafla Aprili 7, 2012, atazikwa kesho Makaburi ya Kinondoni, Wilaya ya Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam.
Mazishi ya Kanumba, yamepangwa na kuratibiwa kwa kuzingatia heshima, umaarufu, mapenzi yake kwa watu na hadhi ya kimataifa aliyonayo, hivyo imetolewa fursa ya wengi kumuaga msanii huyo ambaye ni mwanamapinduzi wa tasnia ya filamu ukanda wote wa Afrika Mashariki na Kati.
Mpangilio wa ratiba na nafasi itatolewa kwa kila mtu mwenye kuhitaji kushiriki mazishi ya Kanumba, kufanya hivyo katika tukio la kihistoria la kumsindikiza ndugu yetu huyo kwenye maisha ya milele. Hivyo, wito unatolewa kwa kila mtu kujitokeza kwenye shughuli nzima.
RATIBA
Mwili wa marehemu Steven Kanumba utachukuliwa kwa msafara kutoka Hospitali ya Taifa, Muhimbili saa 2:30 asubuhi. Utapitishwa Barabara ya Umoja wa Mataifa na Ali Hassan Mwinyi hadi Viwanja vya Leaders Club, Kinondoni ambako Misa ya kumuombea itasomwa pamoja na salamu mbalimbali kabla ya watu wote kumuaga.
Wito unatolewa kwa watu kujitokeza kwa wingi kuanzia saa 2:00 asubuhi, wakijipanga kando ya Barabara za Umoja wa Mataifa na Ali Hassan Mwinyi ili wautolee heshima mwili wa Kanumba wakati ukitolewa Muhimbili kwenda Leaders Club.
Saa 3:30 asubuhi, mwili wa Kanumba utapokelewa Viwanja vya Leaders, ukitanguliwa na mapokezi ya wazazi wake, viongozi mbalimbali wa serikali ambao juu yao kabisa atakuwa Makamu wa Rais wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania, Dk. Mohamed Gharib Bilal.
Saa 4:00, itakuwa ni muda wa kusoma Misa ambayo itachukua dakika 60, saa 5:00 kitakuwa kipindi cha salamu kutoka kwa watu mbalimbali.
Saa 6:00 mchana, ratiba ya kumuaga Kanumba itaanza mpaka saa 9:00 alasiri na baada ya hapo, utakuwa wakati wa kuusafirisha mwili kwa msafara kutoka Leaders Club mpaka Makaburi ya Kinondoni, msafara ukipita Barabara ya Tunisia, utakatisha Barabara ya Kinondoni kuelekea makaburini.
Saa 10:00 alasiri, mazishi yatafanyika kwa kufuata utaratibu wa imani ya marehemu.
Kamati ya Mazishi inatoa wito kwa watu watakaohudhuria shughuli ya kumzika ndugu yetu Kanumba, kuja na maua ili kumuaga kwa heshima.
Utulivu, unyenyekevu na ustahimilivu ni mambo muhimu yanayohitajika katika kipindi chote cha kumuaga mpendwa wetu Kanumba.
Bwana alitoa, Bwana ametwaa. Sisi wote tulimpenda kwa dhati na tulitamani aendelee kuwa nasi siku zote ila Mungu aliyemleta kwa mapenzi yake ameamua kumchukua. Jina lake lihimidiwe.

 NYOTA ya msanii maarufu wa sinema za Tanzania, Steven Charles Kusekwa Kanumba imezimika ghafla kufuatia kuanguka chumbani kwake na kufariki dunia katika tukio linalohusishwa na ugomvi baina yake na msanii mwenzake, Elizabeth Michael ‘Lulu’ na hii ndiyo ripoti kamili.
CHANZO
Tukio hilo la kusikitisha na lililoacha machozi nyuma yake, lilijiri usiku wa Aprili 7, mwaka huu maeneo ya Vatican City Hotel, Sinza Kijiweni, jijini Dar es Salaam.
Kwa mujibu wa mdogo wa marehemu aitwaye Sethi Bosco, staa huyo alikuwa chumbani kwake na Lulu, baadaye alisikia kelele za mzozo kutokea huko.
Akasema, kilichofuata baada ya mzozo huo, Lulu aliondoka ghafla, yeye akaenda chumbani na kumkuta Kanumba yuko chini, bila kujua kilichomsibu.
Kijana huyo ambaye alikiri kwamba Kanumba alikuwa amekunywa pombe usiku huo, aliendelea kusema:
“Nilipofika chumbani nilimkuta (Kanumba) amekaa chini huku ameegemea ukuta. Baada ya kumchunguza nikaona anatokwa na povu na damu kinywani.
“Niliampigia simu daktari wake na kumweleza hali hiyo, naye alifika haraka na kuanza kumfanyia uchunguzi.”

AKIMBIZWA MUHIMBILI
Sethi alisema daktari alipomchunguza alishauri akimbizwe Muhimbili. “Tulipofika alifanyiwa uchunguzi na kugundulika kuwa, alishafariki dunia muda mrefu,” alisema kwa uchungu kijana huyo.

MASTAA WAFURIKA MUHIMBILI
Habari zaidi zinasema kuwa, katika hali isiyotegemewa, mastaa mbalimbali, wakiwemo wa sinema, wacheza mpira na wanamuziki, walianza kumiminika katika hospitali hiyo ya taifa ili kujiridhisha na habari za kifo cha Kanumba.
Wengi wakiwa bado hawaamini, walipofika na kuhakikishiwa waliangua vilio, wengine kupoteza fahamu na kupewa huduma ya kwanza.

 ASKARI WACHARUKA
Saa 10 alfajiri huku mastaa wakizidi kuwasili, askari wa Muhimbili walilazimika kuwaondoa waombolezaji hao kwa madai kuwa vilio vyao vilikuwa vikivuruga utaratibu mwingine wa hospitali hiyo.
Ndipo Mwenyekiti wa Bongo Movie Club, Jacob Steven ‘JB’ alipoanza kutumia nguvu ya ziada kuwataka wasanii hao kuondoka eneo hilo na kwenda nyumbani kwa marehemu kwa ajili ya maombolezo na taratibu nyingine.
Hata hivyo, mpaka saa nne asubuhi bado kulikuwa na wasanii wengine wa filamu katika hospitali ya Muhimbili wakiwa hawaamini kifo cha mwenzao.

ALIKUWA NA MIPANGO YA KWENDA MAREKANI
Kwa upande wake, mama mzazi wa marehemu akiongea tokea Bukoba alikokwenda, alisema mwanaye huyo alimpigia simu hivi karibuni na kumuomba arudi Dar ili waagane kwa vile alikuwa kwenye mipango ya kwenda Marekani.

 KWA NINI LULU?
Msanii wa filamu, Lulu alidakwa na maafande wa Kituo cha Polisi cha Oysterbay jijini Dar akidaiwa kuisadia polisi kufuatia kifo cha Kanumba.
Kamanda wa Mkoa wa Kipolisi Kinondoni, Charles Kenyela alisema Lulu alikamatwa kwa sababu ni mshukiwa wa kwanza wa kifo hicho kwa vile alikuwa mtu wa mwisho kuwa na marehemu usiku wa tukio.

JE, NI KWELI WALIKUWA WAPENZI KITAMBO?
Madai yaliyotua juu ya meza ya gazeti hili yanasema kuwa, Lulu na Kanumba wamekuwa wapenzi kwa muda mrefu huku wakikutana kwa siri, hali iliyozua maswali kutoka kwa watu waliokuwepo msibani hapo.
“Jamani, kwani ni kweli Lulu alikuwa mpenzi wa Kanumba? Mbona haiwezekani? Kama  ni kweli basi walikuwa na siri kubwa,” alisikika akisema mwombolezaji mmoja.
Mama mwenye nyumba wa marehemu Kanumba (jina lake halikupatikana mara moja) alisema ameshamuona Lulu mara kadhaa akiwa na Kanumba nyumbani hapo.

KILICHOMUUA CHAJULIKANA
Kwa mujibu wa daktari mmoja wa Hospitali ya Taifa ya Muhimbili ambaye hakuwa tayari kutaja jina lake, kinachoonekana marehemu alijigonga kichwa mahali pagumu, akapata tatizo la kuvuja damu kwa ndani (internal bleeding).
Akasema kwa mtu anayepata tatizo hilo ni rahisi kufariki dunia au akipona anaweza kupatwa na ugonjwa wa kurukwa na akili.
“Kuna uwezekano mkubwa (Kanumba) angepona angeweza kuwa na tatizo la akili,” alisema daktari huyo.

MAISHA YAKE KUELEKEA KIFO

Sources close to the couple say that they got engaged last night and that they planned to get married in a Very Special Episode of American Idol.

“Jennifer was amazed by Casper’s dancing on stage, and she’s even more impressed with his moves in the bedroom.  She doesn’t think she’ll ever find  a better match for her,” said a fried of Casper Smart.  ”Casper’s awesome and I’m sure they’ll make beautiful babies together, you know, if she can still do that.”
The couple got engaged on a gondola in Venice.  ”She got down on her knees and proposed to Casper.  She put a gigantic ring on his finger,” said the Italian gondolier.  ”Then I take a them to corner of the city where they make the love.”

Some attendees at recent concerts by JLo say that the couple gets “very” close on stage.   “Jennifer is considering doing a dance with Casper during her show – a dance in which they will both be dressed only in whipped cream.”

American Idol is thrilled that Jennifer is getting engaged so close to the start of a new season.  Kim Kardashian has been hired to advise the show how to best exploit the faux marriage and rake in as much money as they can before they divorce (which they plan to do at the beginning of the next season of American Idol).

Not to be outdone, Marc Anthony was spotted in Cuba with a 19-year-old budding porn star.

 The Kardashian sisters are seemingly doing their part to help keep an iconic American company afloat. The Kardashian Kollection has done well with hits and sell-outs for the troubled Sears stores. From jeans, dress, intimates and more, the line of women’s wear has hit a sweet-spot with customers flocking to try on and buy their designs. Recently, celebrities like Dancing with the Star’s Co-host Brooke Burke, Celebrity Apprentice-alum Lisa Rinna and singer/actress Kristin Chenoweth have been spotted wearing the Kardashian Kollection Women’s Ottoman Pencil Dress. I like how this dress seems to fit every body type and compliment them from athletic, curvy, and slim. ( I know Chenoweth is petite but look at how that dress and pose show off her womanly curves).

 
I love this shade of red particularly with Khloe and in this picture for their ad campaign with her lips I can’t help but think of Khloe Kardashian as a modern version of Veronica Lake. Nope the deep wave isn’t there, but the freshness, stoic-nature (stoic is not a bad attribute in my opinion because I’ve always grown the respect the strength and beauty of those who carry this characteristic), glamour, and beauty is very much apparent.

 Kim Kardsahian, likely went into her divorce with Kris Humprhies expecting nothing could go wrong; that perhaps Kris, like herself, could see they were not suited for each other and they would both go their separate ways–with the pre-nup firmly in tact–and everyone feeling sorry for Kim that she married a dud. Unfortunately, Kim’s hubris didn’t allow her to see the forest for the trees. And she didn’t expect a hurt and furious Kris, feeling fooled and taken advantage of, to fight back!

Kris is continuing his quest to expose Kim for the lying fraud she is – and that is terrifying the increasingly depressed and unhappy star. The ex-couple is headed to court on Monday, March 12th for the beginning stages of their divorce trial!

One thing Kris is fighting for is his reputation restored; the NJ Nets forwards feels his portrayal on Kourtney & Kim Take New York has besmirched his reputation and forced the public to see him as someone he is not. And Kim is fighting to keep her secrets from being exposed!
“All he really wants is for his name to be cleared and for the Kardashians to be honest about their malicious intentions and manipulations,” a friend tells Life & Style (via their print edition). “He wants people to know he isn’t the guy they made him out to be. If they’re unwilling to do that, Kris is prepared to fight.”

And proving that he’s not backing down, Kris’ Minnesota-based lawyer, Lee Hutton has been approved to represent him in LA – and Kim is not contesting that! Kim is trying to do everything in her power to make this go away quickly and quietly, approving Kris’ requests will speed up the process.

Kim is extremely worried about this process dragging on, and she’s very afraid of what Kris’ team will drag up! “Kim is terrified to face Kris,” her friend reveals. “She knows he wants to humiliate her the way he feels she’s humiliated him.”

“Kris’ team is looking for every excuse to force her to take the stand,” Kim’s friend adds. If Kim takes the stand, she’ll be forced to be truthful, because if she lies under oath that would be perjury and she could be arrested. Kris wholeheartedly believes that Kim’s public image is based on carefully constructed lies. Because it is.

Luckily for Kris, all the negative publicity and self-centered behavior has shown Kim in an extremely unflattering light, and she is scrambling desperately to restore the public to her side. Kim’s pathetic attempts to seem like a good and honest person have been mocked by the media and former fans have turned on her as well. Kim has even tried turning to church to restore her popularity!
“This is torturing to her,” the friend insists. “The longer this drags on the more despondent she becomes. This is the worst time in her life.”

Even Kim’s family is fed up with this nonsense! “It’s hard for them to be sympathetic,” a friend reveals. “Her family is sick of her complaining, and without their support she’s starting to really fall apart.” Well, perhaps if Kim wasn’t so obsessed with her image and hadn’t built her self-esteem around popularity, she wouldn’t be crumbling because the media is no longer her best friend!
“Kim is emotionally devastated,” a friend explains. “The backlash has destroyed her.” The unhappy star has apparently turned to emotional eating and is now starting to gain weight! “Kim wakes up every morning in a nightmare that just won’t end!”
While Kim sits at home alone and depressed, pretending life is fine; Kris’ career is booming. He’s had a great season and is proving to the world that he moved on.

Kim’s family is frustrated that her actions have affected their income and worry this could permanently destroy everything they’ve built. Additionally, If Kris is successful in proving “fraud”, the prenup the former couple signed would be invalid and Kim could be forced to hand over half of her fortune. And oh, wouldn’t that be fantastic!

She is so desperate to stop Kris, Kim is practically bribing him! Kim expected Kris would ask for $2 million dollars in the settlement, and was prepared to shell out, but now news has emerged that Kris wants more – much more! Kris is seeking $7M from the star – which is less than half of the reported $17M Kim pocketed on their sham wedding!

According to TMZ, Kris apparently issued an ultimatum through his attorney, stating she either write a check or they’re headed to court! Apparently, Kim isn’t ready to pony up just yet. Kim’s camp is contesting, claiming Kris made an estimated $1M through wedding related publicity and deals – a number far smaller than the money she allegedly earned. And arguing means she’s treading on dangerous grounds.

Kris feels he’s entitled to that money because the Kardashians used him to grow their fortune! And he is looking to prove it in court! Kris believes “that there was a malicious intention by the Kardashians to use Kris and to make money and benefit themselves from him ,” a source shares with HollywoodLife. “He wants them to publicly admit that they never intended for it to be a real marriage.” I’m guessing he will also be subpoenaing some bank statements!

Although, the source is quick to point out Kris’ demands have little to do with making money. “Kris isn’t mean, he doesn’t do things to others and it’s not about the money,” and Kris plans to donate most of the proceeds from the divorce to charity!
Is anyone else really excited to see how this all pans out. A public trial would be the juiciest thing to hit reality TV since…well, ever!

There’s some strange things allegedly going on between Bobbi Kristina and her “play brother” Nicholas Gordon, the 22-year-old man who Whitney Houston “adopted” and raised as if he was her own son.

Two eyewitnesses tell HollywoodLife.com that they witnessed the 19-year-old girl lip kissing her unofficial adopted brother, Nicholas Gordon, who lives with her in Whitney Houston‘s former townhouse in Atlanta.

Our sources say Bobbi Kristina and Nick weren’t holding back their PDA during a shopping trip to Target in the community of Johns Creek, Georgia, near their gated community on March 9. 

“Bobbi and Nick were in the music section and then all over the store,” two sources tell us. “Bobbi was kissing him on the mouth and holding hands. They were laughing and smiling and seemed SO happy.” 

Add the eyewitnesses, “She was wearing a black short pencil bandage skirt with a black top and black knee high boots. Her hair and makeup were all done too, like she was going to go out on the town. He was in all black — black jeans, black shirt, earrings and a black wide-brimmed hat.”

We know additionally for a fact that Bobbi was with Nick in Target, since he tweeted a photo of the two of them together later that afternoon in the same outfits our eyewitnesses saw and described.
Their close relationship has been going on for several months, and Bobbi and Nick’s tweets back and forth to each other prove it.

Jaleel White Dishes On 'Dancing,' Fatherhood & Keeping Up With His 'Family Matters' Co-Stars

He first stole our hearts as the lovable snort-prone Steve Urkel in "Family Matters," and now, Jaleel White is set to make America smile once again as he prepares to hit the ballroom on "Dancing with the Stars."

As his dance floor debut draws near, AccessHollywood.com caught up with the 35-year-old star to dish on his multiple upcoming projects, fatherhood and his off-screen relationship with Kellie Shanygne Williams (Laura Winslow on "Family Matters") - the long-desired object of Urkel's bespectacled, suspendered affection.

It was very brother-sisterly," Jaleel said of his off-air status with Kellie. "She's married now and we both have children. She moved back to Maryland and I think that was a good move for her. She's readapted to real life and motherhood."
Adding, "Kellie's wonderful - she's great. I always thought she was an incredibly underrated actress."

Hanging out with Kellie and friends wasn't the only perk of "Family Matters" daily life - Jaleel revealed he used to play basketball with George Clooney during his down time, as the "ER" set was right next door.
"[I won] pretty much all the time. But George is quite the hustler when it comes to H.O.R.S.E.," Jaleel told Access with a laugh, referring to the friendly basketball game. "You do not want to play George Clooney in H.O.R.S.E.!
"I haven't [kept in touch with him]," he added. "Obviously there was a huge age difference and our interaction was organic. The guy loves basketball, he's a complete gentleman -- very competitive -- and really one of the coolest guys I've ever had the pleasure of working next door to on a stage."

Now the proud father of a two-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Jaleel admits his baby girl is more familiar with his role in the family comedy "Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer," versus "Family Matters."
"She's old enough to understand that Daddy goes to work, she is old enough to understand that Daddy's work puts him on the TV," Jaleel told Access of his daughter's comprehension of his career . "She will come hit me over the head with the 'Judy Moody' DVD and say, 'Put Daddy in!' and I think that's really awesome.

"People ask all the time, 'Does she know what you did?' and I say, 'No! You're old, she's young!" he added, laughing. "She knows me from 'Judy Moody' and the Cee Lo video ['Cry Baby']."
As for whether his daughter will get to watch her daddy compete for the mirrorball trophy from the "DWTS" ballroom, Jaleel says she may be a little young for a front row seat.
"I'm probably going to keep her in [my] trailer," he told Access . "I don't really want to put her out there like that -- not right now at least. I'm going to play it by ear."


The actor will definitely have the support of a family member in the ballroom however - Mama White, who is a huge "DWTS" fan.
"Gail White - she will not be denied!" he said with a laugh. "I would be shocked if she does not come to every show."
In addition to "Dancing," Jaleel will soon play host on Syfy's new game show, "Total Blackout," as well as guest starring on USA's "Psych" for a second time next Wednesday alongside Mekhi Pfeiffer and Cheech Marin, and the actor is thrilled to be back bringing smiles to faces of his fans.
"I make people laugh. If you give me a funny script, I'm going to make it even funnier," he told Access . "My heroes are Steve Martin and Eddie Murphy and people of that sort, Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller, and hopefully I'll get back to that soon enough.
"But right now, it's really about running the gamut of showing people I can do all of these other things, and hey, it seems to have worked out in the last 20 months really great," he added.

AP Exclusive: Obama's transgender ex-nanny outcast

JAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) — Once, long ago, Evie looked after "Barry" Obama, the kid who would grow up to become the world's most powerful man. Now, his transgender former nanny has given up her tight, flowery dresses, her brocade vest and her bras, and is living in fear on Indonesia's streets.

Evie, who was born a man but believes she is really a woman, has endured a lifetime of taunts and beatings because of her identity. She describes how soldiers once shaved her long, black hair to the scalp and smashed out glowing cigarettes onto her hands and arms.

The turning point came when she found a transgender friend's bloated body floating in a backed-up sewage canal two decades ago. She grabbed all her girlie clothes in her arms and stuffed them into two big boxes. Half-used lipstick, powder, eye makeup — she gave them all away.

"I knew in my heart I was a woman, but I didn't want to die like that," says Evie, now 66, her lips trembling slightly as the memories flood back. "So I decided to just accept it. ... I've been living like this, a man, ever since."

Indonesia's attitude toward transgenders is complex. Nobody knows how many of them live in the sprawling archipelagic nation of 240 million, but activists estimate 7 million. Because Indonesia is home to more Muslims than any other country in the world, the pervasiveness of men who live as women and vice versa often catches newcomers by surprise. They hold the occasional pageant, work as singers or at salons and include well-known celebrity talk show host Dorce Gamalama.

Twister slams same area hit by killer storm in '11

HARVEST, Ala. (AP) — Cody Stewart is done owning a home for a little while. He has lost his house to tornadoes twice in 10 months.

A killer twister wiped out his neighborhood in the epic Alabama storms April 27, causing Stewart $40,000 worth of damage that forced him to temporarily move in with his parents. In his house for less than two months with repairs still incomplete, another tornado hit again Friday, ripping off the roof, slinging it into the backyard and leaving the walls bowed outward.

This time, the damage is beyond repair.

"I kind of expected there to be more storms again this year, but you never expect it to hit the same place twice," Stewart said Saturday as he stood in what remains of his wood-frame home. "I think I'm going to live in an apartment awhile. I'm not superstitious, but it just kind of seems there's a path here and I don't want to be in it again, and I hope other people make the same choice."

While scattered damage was reported elsewhere, the worst destruction was in Limestone and Madison counties, where 190 homes were damaged or destroyed.

The damage included nearly every house in Stewart's neighborhood on Yarbrough Road, located in the Tennessee Valley about 15 miles northwest of Huntsville.

The storms were not as deadly in Alabama this time. Nearly 200 miles south of Harvest, which is near the Tennessee state line, one person was killed in the Tallapoosa County community of Jackson's Gap. Last year, twisters cut a wide path of destruction across the region, killing about 250 people statewide, including at least two near where Stewart lived.

Dozens of homes were damaged or destroyed a year ago in his neighborhood, which was left looking like logging crews had come through because all of the trees were snapped and tossed to the ground.

The twister Friday was smaller and didn't cause any serious injuries, but it hit homes where people were still recovering.

Across the street from Stewart, Jason Kerr and his wife lost their home to the April 27 twister but weren't injured. Kerr had just finished demolishing the house, rebuilding the garage and hauling in $5,000 worth of dirt for a new foundation when the latest storm stuck. Their brand new garage was damaged, and they might not be able to repair it.

Kerr dreads again dealing with insurance companies that he said seem to pinch every dollar.

"It makes it hard for the people on the ground who have lost everything," he said. "It's a difficult time for everybody."

That includes James and Judy Hodges, who live up the street on the corner. They just finished $65,000 in repairs to their home and moved back in; now the house looks it was hit with a giant ax that flayed open the roof and ripped off the front of the structure.

"Time to rebuild again," she said as church volunteers helped clear away debris and pick up belongings scattered through the yard.

Longtime residents talk about the 1974 tornado outbreak that wiped out hundreds of homes, killed nearly 90 people and injured about 950 people in north Alabama. Stewart remembers a twister in the early '90s, when he was still a boy. The repeated bashings have left people feeling short on luck, at the very least.

As Stewart left home Friday to drive to work at a tech company in Huntsville, something felt eerie. Forecasters had been warning of the chance of severe weather for days, and he said it was too warm for early March; the sky looked too gray.

"It was just that sick feeling in your stomach," he said. "It was like, 'It feels familiar.'"

Now, with Yarbrough Road hit twice in such a short period, Stewart said nothing will ever be the same there.

"It's time to move on," he said.
