AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani remains confident the club can keep Thiago Silva at the club despite growing reports of interest from Barcelona.Barca are expected to attempt to add to their options at centre-back this summer and Thiago Silva, 27, has long been touted as a target. However, Galliani believes Milan will be able to keep the Brazil international at the San Siro.
"Thiago Silva has a long contract with us - until 2016 - so I don't think he can be abducted by Barcelona," Galliani said.
Galliani also denied reports Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be handed a contract extension until 2016.
"There will be no renewal for Ibrahimovic, absolutely not," he said. "We are only at the start of 2012 and he still has two years to run on his present deal. It's a long deal and agent Mino Raiola was here yesterday to talk about some youngsters."
Meanwhile, Xavi's agent has dismissed rumours the midfielder could leave Barca for Paris Saint Germain this summer.
Reports in Spain had suggested Xavi could make the unlikely switch amid uncertainty over Pep Guardiola's future, but Ivan Corretja told RMC Sport: "Xavi is under a contract with Barcelona until 2014 and he has no plans to leave the club."
